Memorial is an ancient gospel renewing a postmodern city.

Memorial is a community of people sharing a common journey to live for something bigger than ourselves—a counter-culture of grace to bring the Welcome of Jesus to the heart of St. Louis.

Founded in 1864, we come from every background. We’re broken people—every one of us has a story. But have come to believe that Jesus of Nazareth is alive and at large in the world, a healing Presence who radically reorients lives to God, forgives sin, covers shame and frees from bondage. This gospel of Jesus reverses the world’s values—showing us the way up is down, the way to power is through weakness, the way to true riches is through giving.
