Core Values

Mission
To renew the city.
To be part of a gospel movement that transforms St. Louis socially, spiritually, culturally and physically—and through St. Louis, the world.

Core Values
Our core values are Gospel, Community and Mission.

Vision
We envision a St. Louis liberated and renewed by the gospel. Toward that end, we aspire to be a gospel community working alongside others to renew St. Louis socially, spiritually, culturally and physically.

Beliefs
As Christians, we believe Christ and are therefore under (never over) his word, the collection of 66 books, letters, histories, poems, songs and prophecies we now call the Bible. We receive the Westminster Confession of Faith and Larger and Shorter Catechisms as a reliable summary of biblical Christian teachings, subordinate to Scripture. The Confession dates to 1646 and was originally the doctrinal summary of the Church of England and Church of Scotland, with American revisions from 1789.

But at its core, what do we believe?
  • We believe God is real. More>>
  • We believe the world shouldn’t be this way. More>>
  • We believe God is speaking. More>>
  • We believe God can be encountered in Jesus of Nazareth. More>>
  • We believe in the Church as Christ’s call to authentic Christian community. More>>
  • And we believe in the City. More>>
