History

Memorial Presbyterian Church was planted in 1864 as a colony of Second Presbyterian Church of St. Louis, which had been planted out of First Presbyterian Church. Memorial began building it’s current building—the congregation’s third—in the 1920s. But the church’s story began much earlier, with a lineage traced through the Rome, Celtic Christianity and the Church of Scotland.
