Beacon for the Gospel Capital Campaign

Read our blog here.

Beginning in 2006, the church’s extended family asked God to provide the resources to renew the historic campus of buildings and grounds to better serve as a Beacon for the Gospel in the creative and cultural heart of St. Louis.

Some of the projects that are completed, underway or planned include:

  • New sanctuary sound system
  • Improved sanctuary lighting
  • Repainted sanctuary
  • Renovated church parlors and classrooms
  • Renovated Chapel as community art and music space
  • Renovated children’s ministry spaces
  • Interactive children’s play garden
  • Improved landscaping
  • New exterior drives and walkways
  • Renovated restrooms (including ADA)
  • Renovated organ
  • Improved air conditioning
  • Repaired roof
  • New exterior lighting

This campaign is opening new doors for Memorial to serve our city. Jesus is alive and at work changing lives among us, and we are working to optimize our physical spaces to support that mission. We seek to be what Jesus called a city on a hill. A Beacon for the Gospel in St. Louis. These projects are funded solely by the sacrificial giving of Christians in the St. Louis area and beyond. If you have not yet made a financial commitment and would like to—or if you want to know more—please contact Capital Campaign Chair Steve Begany.
